Synopsis
Hello everyone! Ao here with another review. This time, I'm reviewing an old, but classic show, Oliver's Twist. The show features a young and charismatic Jamie Oliver. The premise of the show is that Jamie Oliver is presented with different scenarios where he has to cook for different people with varying tastes. Each episode has a unique theme to suit the cuisine. For example, seafood, Japanese food, or Italian food. You get the idea. The sequence of events in each episode is pretty much the same. Jamie is presented with a scenario where he has to cook up various dishes that match the theme of the episode, Jamie goes outside to buy ingredients and interact with shopkeepers, Jamie starts cooking, the guests arrive, Jamie chats with the guests, finishes cooking, and finally it ends with Jamie and co sitting down to eat together. There may be variations here and there, but the bulk of the episodes follow this sequence.

My Thoughts and Review
This show is no doubt entertaining, and it's all thanks to the host Jamie Oliver. Jamie is so charismatic, articulate, passionate, and brings such a energy to the show. I love how Jamie talks to the audience while cooking, as if he's having a casual chat with us. The interactions between Jamie and the others, such as shopkeepers and the guests are also interesting, and turns the show into something more than just another cooking show.

Word of warning, don't watch this show late at night when you're super hungry! You'll no doubt get some serious hunger pangs and cravings! All jokes aside, Jamie makes delicious food. The food he makes appear homemade, with a rustic feel. It doesn't feel pretentious, or restaurant like at all. It really feels like watching your mate cook a meal for you. Overall, I highly recommend Oliver's Twist to everyone, whether you're a fan of cooking shows, a fan of Jamie Oliver, or just a causal fan. This show is about food, but Jamie is no doubt the star of the show.

The charasmatic Jamie Oliver is no doubt the star of the show.

Overall rating: 8/10. Jamie Oliver's passion and charisma really shine through in this show.
Plot: 5/10. The plot is too predictable, the same sequence of events always happens.
Entertainment: 9/10. Once again, Jamie Oliver.
Sound: 3/10. Music used in this show is very repetitive, always the same guitar riff.
Recommend?: Absolutely.
