Hey guys, Jasper here from ISYS100 Trio to do another television show review for today's blog. The first television show I will be reviewing is The Loop.

Show summary

The Loop is an Australian music video show which plays the music videos of some of the latest and most popular hits in the music industry. The show plays new and old popular music videos as well as introducing upcoming music hits from a wide range of artists. Although the show mainly plays popular music videos from global artists, every so often it introduces upcoming Australian artists and their hit singles that have made them stand out in the Australian music industry.

As well as just being a music video show the show also discusses about music news and upcoming movies, includes interviews with artists and actors, invites artists to play live in the studio as well as showing popular or viral videos from YouTube.

The show often has a ‘LoopOff’ where they pick two popular music tracks, where there is usually a connection between them through the artists or song, and ask viewers to vote for either one and play the most voted track towards the end of the show.

My thoughts

I mainly find most of the music I like from listening to the radio but from watching ‘The Loop’ every now and then I often find some more new music that I like. Its also a nice mix that they show a selection of popular videos from YouTube and have discussions and interviews to break the cycle of music videos.
I would recommend watching The Loop if you like listening to some of the current music being played on radio stations as you may find some new music that suits your tastes.

The Loop is aired every Saturday mornings from 9 am to 11:30 am on network Eleven.

P.S. Yes I know the pun in the heading is bad, it was all I could think of!
